The Christmas Show

The school had a Christmas show for the four years up through grade 1. Ji Ji is in Primary which is the year before 1st grade so her class was included. Of course they couldn't actually do anything related to Christmas so they picked some fairy tales and did those stories.

Ji Ji takes ballet after school and her group performed a dance as pixies. In the first picture, she is in the middle row in the back. The second picture she is in the middle giving one of her sly Ji Ji smiles.














Ji Ji's class did the Gruffalo story. Ji Ji is one of the mice and she is 2nd from the left. The kids are all wearing T-shirts they made with flags from their countries. Ji Ji 's shirt has the Chinese flag on the top and the US flag on the bottom. The next photo is the entire class doing a RAP song about the Little Red Hen. Ji Ji is on the stage, all the end right. She is wearing a baseball cap backwards.














Ji Ji introduced the last song which was performed by all classes.














Nora's class was not included but she was asked to perform in the ballet with the 3-4 year old girls to help them on stage. She was the only 2nd grader in the performance. She had a little solo dance at the beginning and then the little girls came out and danced around her. Then she touched each one with her wand and they stood up and danced. Her teacher says she is the best dancer in her class and she really needs to be in a more advanced class to improve. She told me that I need to push her .... hmmmm !
